RECENT PROJECTS

In 2015, Doug’s team was able to find space for Ciena in the recently vacated Blackberry buildings in conjunction with the existing space, 3 new buildings were built totaling 425,000 sf.

In 2024, we were able to secure for Thales Systems Canada a new fifteen (15) year lease that consolidated 3 locations. Thales Canada will now occupy 125,000 sf in Ottawa.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE

Formerly with a major Ottawa developer, Doug had full responsibility for their entire commercial and investment portfolio, which included several million square feet of commercial space, two hotels, 3,500 residential units and large tracts of development land.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Doug began his career as a professional accountant. He is a CPA and holds a Certified Management Accounting designation (CMA), Financial Management Certification, as well as a degree in Business Administration (Accounting Major). Once involved in the real estate industry, Doug quickly excelled in the leasing field.
