Role & Responsibilities

Brittany Slaney is a Vice President in the Valuation & Advisory group of Cushman & Wakefield based in our National Capital office. Brittany leads the Valuation and Advisory professionals and provides real estate valuation services with a broad focus covering all asset types.

Brittany joined Cushman & Wakefield as a Senior Consultant in 2014, coming from a small valuation and consulting firm where she had previously worked for 5 years. Within the Valuation & Advisory group, Brittany provides her market knowledge to the various Advisory and Valuation assignments in the National Capital Region and Central Ontario as well as nationally within the Cushman & Wakefield global network.

Work Experience

With over 12 years of experience, Brittany has been involved in a number of notable valuation and consulting assignments with a focus on development land and multi-family. Brittany has experience appraising a variety of land types including residential development (high, medium and low density), industrial, retail and office land. Additionally, Brittany is experienced in appraising multi-residential buildings, single and multi-tenant industrial buildings and office assets. Ms. Slaney’s clients include municipal, provincial and federal government bodies, non-government agencies, as well as regional and other private sector clients. In 2021, the Ottawa Appraisal Team appraised over $1 billion worth of multi-residential and land properties in Ottawa.

• Choice REIT – future purpose built rental project in Ottawa
• Golden Equity – multiple multi-res properties
• Manulife – multi-res property in Gatineau requiring quarterly and annual report updates
